Rob Englert - Founder and Principal Designer of Ram Industrial Design, Inc
Rob Englert is the founder and principal designer of ram industrial design, inc (ram), a consultancy specializing in consumer products, user interactions and experiences. Rob founded ram in 2005 as a vehicle to create products that make a difference in people's lives. Over his career, he has created custom solutions and products for a wide range of clients including: Alcoa, Bose, Carrier, Chobani, Energizer, Honeywell, KitchenAid, Kodak, Maxi-Cosi, NASA, Procter & Gamble, RIDGID, Safety 1st, Swiss Army and Welch Allyn.

Rob is named on over 50 patents, and taught in the Industrial and Interaction Design Department at Syracuse University for ten years. He holds a BFA in Industrial Design from the Columbus College of Art & Design and an MFA in Industrial Design from the Rochester Institute of Technology where his thesis work focused on Localized Manufacturing and the Future of Products. Rob has guest lectured on design and technology at several colleges and universities including Hobart and William Smith's Colleges, Penn State, Rochester Institute of Technology, Syracuse University, Yale, SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF) and the University of Oregon.
