Bennett serves as the Director, Sustainability at Corning Incorporated, joining Corning in October, 2018.  Prior to joining Corning Incorporated, Bennett led the Environment, Health, Safety (EHS) and Sustainability program at American Standard Brands from 2016 to 2018 and previous to that, Xylem Inc., a water equipment manufacturer spun off from ITT Corporation in 2011.  From 1998 to 2011, he worked in EHS at ITT Corporation.  Prior to joining ITT, Bennett worked for ten years at the global EHS consulting company, Environmental Resources Management (ERM).  Bennett holds a BS in Civil Engineering/Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University and a MS in Environmental Engineering from Polytechnic University, Brooklyn, NY.  He is also a certified lean six sigma black belt.
