Bill Strassburg is currently VP of Strategic Initiatives for Wegmans. Bill began his career with Wegmans in 1977 while he was getting his MBA from the University of Rochester. Bill worked in marketing research, pricing, special promotions, marketing, real estate, operations, special projects, and strategic planning for Wegmans and then became the president of Chase-Pitkin Home and Garden, a division of Wegmans. Bill now serves on the boards of Rochester Data Science Consortium, NextCorps, Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, Cornell AgriTech, Greater Rochester Enterprise, FLREDC, Visit Rochester, Cornell Tech Farm and Pluta Cancer Center (UR). He is an active member of Oak Hill CC and Midtown Tennis. Wife Tammy, children Tyler, Parker (Cornell ’14), Leah, and Quinn (Cornell ’23).
