Mathew Sachs, Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Development

 

Over the last 15 years, Mr. Sachs has developed a proven track record of building cleantech businesses through investment, partnership, and organic sales growth. Prior to joining CPower in 2019, he served with National Grid Ventures as Vice President, Distributed Energy.

 

In addition to leading distributed energy initiatives with National Grid, Mr. Sachs led originations for KRoad DG, a private equity platform focused on energy; Yingli Green Energy as Vice President, Corporate Development; Vice President, Sales & Commercial Operations; and Director, Business Development. His wide-reaching national and international experience also includes leadership positions at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Honeywell, and Heller Industries. 

 

Mr. Sachs is a graduate With Distinction of Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management Master of Business Administration, where he served as Annual lecturer to Finance Immersion post-graduation. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from SUNY University of Buffalo with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
